Atlanta based artist Mjstax releases “No Promo 3” on all platforms, an EP to kick start the new year. Stax is not only an artist, he is held the founder of @lonerboyco on Instagram for Duffel Bag Gang apparel, maintaining a significant role in DBG. This project demonstrates the uniqueness in his voice as well as the effort behind the lyrics. Safe to say he was eager to display his independent talent with only one feature by OMB Glizzy on track two “Long Live Brazy” as OMB offered his talents in addition to Stax. Personally my favorite beat is on track one “Ocean Eyes” where they sampled a fan favorite Billie Eilish song. Producers Rare Culture, KAPRI, and Shaun Too Krazy laid their hand in this project, setting the foundation for inspiration and a sound composition. Let us not forget to give the appropriate recognition to producer and audio engineer MoonsOnTheRack #mixedbymoons for mixing and mastering this work in its entirety. Anyways, back to the good stuff. Which song was your favorite?! I’m stuck between “Hands Ain’t Dirty” and “Long Live Brazy”. However, I can definitely appreciate “Mine” because of how well the hook stayed in my head after listening. The average person is irritated by nagging rhymes in their head, but if you’re an artist, ironically that’s the goal. So well done, my friend.
